Chase is sired by a 18.2hh Shire stallion and out of a 16hh Paint Thoroughbred cross mare. He is not the very heavy build draft cross type; he is more refined and elegant. He was bred by the successful Sport Horse breeders Flying W Farms and purchased by us as a weanling. He is a nice mover with very comfortable gaits. He is always willing to please and has a personality which makes him stand out from the rest. He comes galloping to the sound of his name called from the outside of the fence! He is registered and branded with the American Warmblood Society. At his inspection he was the only horse awarded the two highest scores of the day out of over thirty horses (he was the youngest at ten months), which was based upon disposition and quality of trot. He is a very collectable horse that has a nice frame and is willing to please. Chase is a pleasure to hack out on the trails as well.
Chase is a great stallion to consider for foals of the Dressage/Sport Horse type, consistently stamping his foals with his even disposition, athletic ability and good bone. His semen ships well and his conception rate has been 100%. He has fourteen foals on the ground and nine are colored. HE IS NOT AT ALL STUDDISH or a screamer! He is very quiet even in the company of mares. He is not at all vocal. Most people who come into contact with him can not believe he is a stud! His foals are proof of his promising future as a sire. Consider Chase for your next Sporthorse prospect!
